Zayn Malik, the One-Direction singer has announced he’s heading on his first-ever solo tour, off the back of his latest album Room Under The Stairs. After posting teasers on social media, the musician made a brief surprise appearance on The Tonight Show to announce his upcoming showrun.
Back in May 2024, Zayn’s fourth studio album was launched, following lead single ‘What I Am‘ and later, ‘Love Like This.’ Now, for the first time since January 2016, the 31-year-old is again, going on tour.

When did Zayn announce his solo tour?
During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on 17th September 2024, Zayn walked across the stage dropping a note on Jimmy’s desk. The note read, ” Hey Jimmy. Great to see you, mate. Going on my first-ever solo tour this autumn. So when you’re done picking apples with your buds you can come check out my ‘Stairway to the Sky Tour’ across the US and the UK. I’m making an official announcement tomorrow morning.”
Zayn’s tour setlist?
While Zayn hasn’t shared much about his upcoming tour yet, he did share a teaser on Instagram which took fans through clips from ‘What I Am’, ‘Pillowtalk’, ‘Stardust’, ‘Dusk Till Dawn’, ‘Alienated‘, which were songs from his debut solo studio album Mind of Mine in 2016, Icarus Falls in 2018, and Room Under The Stairs in 2024.
The Stairway to the Sky tour will kick off on Oct. 23 in San Francisco and is currently scheduled to conclude on Dec. 3 in Newcastle. The U.S. leg will also include stops in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and New York. The U.K. leg will also consist of shows in Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, London, and Wolverhampton.
