Nicki Minaj Could Soon Break Her Historic Tie With Megan Thee Stallion;
Nicki Minaj is one of several artists who have yet to win a Grammy. This oddity shocks a lot of fans. Minaj is one of the most successful musicians of all time, and the most commercially dominating female in the hip-hop space. Yet, she still has not achieved one of the music industry’s biggest honors. Her losing streak may come to an end soon but apart from that, she may be able to at least break out of a historic tie.
Despite the fact she never won a Grammy, Minaj is regularly nominated for them. She’s already accrued 12 chances to walk away a winner. Minaj may end up as one of the most-nominated artists at the 2025 Grammys. She’ll potentially break her tie with another musician with whom she’s feuded in the past. The superstar has been in the running for Best Rap Performance twice. First, she was nominated for “Moment 4 Life” alongside Drake in 2012. Four years later, she was back, with Drake once more.
With just a pair of nods in the Best Rap Performance field, Minaj is tied with Megan Thee Stallion for the second-most nominations among women.
Minaj only needs to hitch one more nomination to Best Stallion. The latter musician also has plenty of tunes that could wind up being featured as well.
The two rappers could break their tie, or compete against one another, upping their career totals once more.
For her part, Minaj has quite a few songs she could focus on when it comes to Grammy nominations. Singles like “Super Freaky Girl,” “Big Foot”, and “Everybody” with Lil Uzi Vert are likely candidates, though they’re not the only tunes that could be nominated. She may find her name appearing in multiple fields, but should she wind up a possible winner in the Best Rap Performance category, she’ll quite possibly make history.
